GSF expands network with new branch openings

GSF Car Parts, the leading UK car parts distributor, has announced the opening of its latest branch in Birmingham. This marks a significant milestone in the company's ongoing expansion efforts, with branches in Crawley and Southgate set to open later this month. 

Strategically located in East Birmingham, the new branch will serve as a vital hub for GSF Car Parts, enhancing the company's ability to supply and deliver high-quality car parts and accessories. The facility is 10,000 sq ft and features a fleet of five vans, two bikes, and two electric Tuk Tuk-style bikes. Its proximity to the city centre ensures excellent coverage and fast delivery times across the city.

This new branch is part of a continued expansion plan, with additional branches set to open in Crawley and Southgate on June 24, 2024.

The Southgate unit has three vans and four bikes. Located just four miles from Barnet and three miles from Finchley, this expansion enhances GSF’s London coverage and hopes to boost delivery speeds across the capital. The branch will serve the area’s many independent garages, national accounts, and click-and-collect customers.

The new Crawley Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) spans 22,000 sq ft and holds over £1 million worth of stock. It will service the branch network with six inter-branch vans, operating three times a day from Monday to Saturday. Initially opening with six delivery vehicles for their customer network, this fleet is set to expand in the coming months as the branch team establishes their customer base.

All branches have experienced teams ready to assist and support customers. In addition to regular delivery services to local garages, they also offer a Click and Collect service for retail customers.

The announcement follows a period of rapid growth for the parts distributor, which now boasts approximately 190 branches and 3,000 team members nationwide. It also follows the announcement of a brand-new, 500,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton last month.
